Why Do You Recommend A Raw Whole Food Plant Food Diet Instead Of Just A Cooked Whole Food Plant-Based Diet? Dr. Gabriel Cousens

Dr. Gabriel Cousens calls chronic diabetes degenerative syndrome. A leading medical authority in the world of live-food nutrition, Dr. Cousens exposes the dangers of excess glucose and fructose as the key causes of this seemingly unstoppable epidemic that affects more than twenty-five million Americans and 347 million people worldwide. Cousens, whose Diabetes Recovery Program is the most successful antidiabetes program in the world, presents a three-week plan that focuses on a moderate-low complex carbohydrate, live food, plant-source-only diet that reverses diabetes to a physiology of health and well-being by resetting the genetic expression of a person’s DNA. The program renders insulin and related medicines unnecessary within four days as the blood sugar drops to normal levels, and the diabetic shifts into nondiabetic physiology within two weeks.

Don’t Add Cooked Foods Too Fast, Cooked Food Is Addictive – Don’t Step Down Before You Are Ready. From Goodbye Lupus by Brooke Goldner, M.D.

While you don’t need to be entirely raw to hyper-nourish, the fastest path to healing in my rapid recovery program uses a very specific raw plant based program to rapidly reverse autoimmune disease. It can take 4 weeks for cravings for junk food and cooked foods to go away, but when they do you start to LOVE the taste and feeling of the raw diet. Once you get to that place, I recommend you keep going until your symptoms resolve, because if you “take a break” and add cooked food back it is VERY hard to go back to all raw for most people because the cravings are BACK! This is also true for eating unhealthy food. Don’t introduce anything different if you are already on a roll with healthy disease-reversing eating. Stay the course! If you haven’t learned my nutrition protocol to reverse your disease yet, click my profile link – the webinars are 100% free and you can sign up for free live question & answer sessions with me afterwards to get all your questions answered. I want to help you, but you have to take action by watching and learning and asking, and of course eating to reverse your illness and live your best life.

This was from an online wellness consultation where the client is 90% better and almost completely healthy, but still has a little ways to go, but she was contemplating stepping down and going all out again at a later date to get to the finish line. This was my advice.
