While you don’t need to be entirely raw to hyper-nourish, the fastest path to healing in my rapid recovery program uses a very specific raw plant based program to rapidly reverse autoimmune disease. It can take 4 weeks for cravings for junk food and cooked foods to go away, but when they do you start to LOVE the taste and feeling of the raw diet. Once you get to that place, I recommend you keep going until your symptoms resolve, because if you “take a break” and add cooked food back it is VERY hard to go back to all raw for most people because the cravings are BACK! This is also true for eating unhealthy food. Don’t introduce anything different if you are already on a roll with healthy disease-reversing eating. Stay the course!
